This school year has been full of changes, and the All-County Visually Literate Art Show was no exception. Sharee Price from the SCOESC was forced to get creative in order to have the show at all, which is usually housed at the Verne Riffe Gallery of Shawnee State University. This year, that wasn't an option. A virtual show would have to take place. Students submitted all artwork digitally for judging. There were 122 submissions from all over the county, and 50 pieces accepted into the show. Valley was well represented with 9 out of 15 submissions being accepted or earning an award in the following categories:
Mixed Media: Rebecca Morgan (1st Place), Gail Montgomery (Honorable Mention)
Graphics: J.J. Cooper (Honorable Mention)
Painting: Chandler Carter (1st and 3rd Place), Addie Copley (Honorable Mention), Erica Cade (Honorable Mention)
Erica Cade was also the recipient of a $1000 Scholarship from Shawnee State University Congratulations Erica!
